Demystifying the suspicion and skeptics

Yes, we know that there are many sites on the web that solicit people to fill out surveys and give personal information for a $50 to $500 gift cards.

What can Instagarage do to let people know that this site is real? We have placed our contact information on our page, we are a legitimate corporate entity, we are a current member of the Better Business Bureau and our site is secured by Geotrust.

Instagarage is the real deal!

How many times have you received a gift card this year and never used it because you were obligated to a store you didn’t like? You threw the gift card in your top drawer along with the other 8 cards you got for Christmas because they all wouldn’t fit into your wallet. Then when you decide to use one of your cards, you find out that a scam artist scratched the numbers off the back of the card and used it online. Now you’re out of a $100 dollar gift card and the retailer won’t reimburse you because the card had an expiration date? What a shame!
Now imagine, one universal gift card that allow consumers to shop at multiple locations, small enough to fit into your wallet, no expiration dates, and security measures to deter con artists?

What are we talking about? Instagarage.com, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, is an online gift card company that will provide a universal gift card where all gift cards are built into one single card that will allow consumers to shop at the retailer of their choice. Retailers include: Hotels, Airlines, Gas Stations, National Retailers, Online stores, or any company that carries a gift card.

This is where it all started!

We started Instagarage in a Fema trailer and the idea came to me when we evacuated to Georgia for Hurricane Katrina. My wife contacted a lady in charge of the red cross operations in Georgia and she explained to us that they would be giving away some cards and other items, but we had to get there at about 5:00 A.M to be one of the first people to get our cards. Once we arrived at 5:00 A.M., there were about 50,000 people in line. So word really travels fast. I thought about it for a while and it wasn’t until we were living in the Fema trailer, that it hit me. Why not start an internet company that provides ultimate shopping experience by offering a universal gift card that allow consumers to shop at the retailer of their choice and not be confined to one store, like conventional gift cards.
